Angriya Luxury Cruise Liner

Angirya Cruise, the first domestic luxury cruise ship of India, has started its operations since October 2018, and operates to transport tourists between Mumbai and Goa. The Angriya Cruise Liner, named after the first Admiral of the Maratha Navy, Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre, popularly known as the 'Shivaji of the Indian Sea', is 131-metre long and 17-metre wide. The ship is built in Japan, will help tourists coming to Goa and going to Mumbai an experience and comfort like never before.

A fully-equipped luxurious cruise liner, ‘Angriya’ is extensive with great comforts. It has an experienced team of marine professionals & hospitality personnel to ensure a best-in-class sailing experience with safe & pleasurable navigation.

The ship has 7-decks and is first of its kind in the luxury cruise liner segment in India. It is a first Class 4 RSPV (River Sea Passenger Vessel) and is registered under the DG Shipping of India.

The ship is propelled by 2 powerful Pielstick 18PC 2-6 engines generating 27000 BHP, which can achieve a speed of 25 knots per hour. Angriya is the only vessel in India to equipped with the best marine evacuation and emergency response systems.

Angriya Cruise will operate on alternate days, and the cruise can accommodate about 350 tourists per journey. They have 104 rooms on board, and have categories that include dormitories, 4-bedded pods, deluxe rooms, and luxury suites. The dormitory has bunk beds and while other rooms have single and double beds. Some suites are located at the underwater level.

Angriya Cruise has an underwater spa, gym, an infinity pool, two restaurants, six unique bars and three open decks. There are a total of seven decks.

Entry to pool, bars, restaurants and the library is free of cost. Children, however, are not allowed in areas where liquor is served. (Infants are considered to be less than 6 Months to 3 Years, and children are considered to be between 3 Years to 8 Years.)

Though the ship is capable of completing the journey in just eight hours, the journey one way from and to Mumbai from Goa sails at a leisurely pace to complete the journey in 14 hours.

The journey begins from Mumbai at 4.00 pm and ends in Goa the next day at 9.00 am. The ship departs Goa at 4.00 pm and reaches Mumbai at 9.00 am. The Boarding time is atleast 2 hours prior to the departure time.

The timings have been fixed in a way that tourists can enjoy both beautiful sunrise & mesmerising sunset during the journey.
