Angriya Cruise, the first domestic luxury cruise ship of India, has started its operations since October 2018, and operates to transport tourists between Mumbai and Goa. The Angriya Cruise Liner, named after the first Admiral of the Maratha Navy, Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre, popularly known as the 'Shivaji of the Indian Sea', is 131-metre long and 17-metre wide.
Angriya Cruise will operate on alternate days, and the cruise can accommodate about 350 tourists per journey. They have 104 rooms on board, and have categories that include dormitories, 4-bedded pods, deluxe rooms, and luxury suites. The dormitory has bunk beds and while other rooms have single and double beds.
Angriya Cruise has an underwater spa, an infinity pool, two restaurants, six unique bars and three open decks. There are a total of seven decks.
The journey begins from Mumbai at 4.00 pm and ends in Goa the next day at 9.00 am. The ship departs Goa at 4.00 pm and reaches Mumbai at 9.00 am.
